Forever Muse

Small and dark

Dressed in rage

With dreams of beauty

You waited

In anguish

For the beloved daughter

Still missing

At nightfall

When all gather home

For the untruthful lover

Sipping lust

And pleasure

From other lips

And now

Beyond

Mortal shadows,

You stand alone

Daughter

Of all Muses

Of the Lesbian wind

Scattering

Your words

Adamant in time

Despite fragility.
